- The Diablo industrial is Type 1 , for general use, and also available in the Type 2 version, which positively passed the flash-over test. This test involves an exposure of the device to heat and flame for 10 seconds at 900°, followed by a drop. During and after the test the apparatus continues to work granting positive pressure inside the mask and maintaining self extinguishing feature.
- Diablo Industrial MM type 2 breathing apparatus is also MED approved (for naval use).
