Description

• PFERD TOOLS bench grinding wheels have been adapted to the standard bench grinders on the market.
• The HSS design is particularly suitable for sharpening HSS pilot drills or machining other high-alloy steels.

Recommendations for use

• Dressing the disc on a regular basis exposes sharp grain and maintains an even grinding area.
• Constantly adjust the workpiece support to the grinding disc diameter (gap width max. 3Â mm).

Safety notes

• The maximum permitted peripheral speed is 35 m/s.
• For safety reasons, the maximum permitted rotational speed indicated must never be exceeded.
• Before clamping, the grinding tool must be ring tested to make sure that it does not have any cracks (undamaged grinding tools give a clear tone).
