Description
- With the CAST cut, PFERD TOOLS has developed innovative burrs specifically for work on cast iron. They stand out on cast iron materials through exceptionally high stock removal performance and significantly reduced vibration and noise generation.
- Pointed tree-shaped burr in accordance with DIN 8032, flattened end.
Special Features
- Compared with conventional cross-cut burrs, the innovative tooth geometry provides up to 100% increased stock removal capacity on cast iron materials.
- Noticeably aggressive operation, long chips and very good deburring.
- Comfortable operation due to lower vibration and reduced noise.
- Extremely precise concentricity enables impact-free operation without leaving scratch marks. This significantly reduces wear on the tool and machine.
Usage Recommendations
- To prevent vibration, mount the tools in powerful motors with shafts supported as flexibly as possible.
- Observe the recommended speed.
- If the smallest area of the burr diameter is used, the recommended speed can be increased accordingly.
- Higher speed and cutting speed should be used to ensure cost-effective use of the burrs. Use burrs with a 6 mm shank diameter with machines having an output power starting at 300 watts.
Safety Notes
- Very high stock removal rates may cause discoloration of the shank. This does not constitute a safety risk.
